And you are so right. And I never even thought of these who are born outside of Cuba and sort of adopt the "cause" and parrot their parent's views without a second thought as to the suffering the "real" Cubans go through everyday. But to be honest, those would never cross my mind. They are an afterthought to me because they are NOT Cuban! So please join me in giving them a double fuck you salute! For being even more cruel and mindless fucks who should stay out of Cuban affairs. I never read those blogs, never even look their way. Brainless, thoughtless, mindless.

Well who am I to say -- but my personal faves are the second and even third generation Miami/New Jersey/Other non-Cuba places bloggers who SUPPORT THE EMBARGO AND ALL THE OTHER RESTRICTIONS (because it gives THEM special status of course)... meanwhile saying "No, I've never been there... I won't go back until Cuba is FREE!" Um... do we have a little conflict here between "never been" and "go back"?!?!? Yes. We do. And yet they are so quick to tell other people how to live, how to be 'courageous' and 'brave' and 'stand up'... So where you're wrong is you say these people stood up only to leave. They never left.. they were never there. They are just parroting their parents and grandparents... they've never personally stood up for anything in their lives except their special status of being BORN into EXILE... oh give me a break... Why don't they emigrate to their beloved country and live it... and then try telling other people what to do. They can be the brave people they like to think they are... and stand straight and tall in Castro's jail cells.

She's a blogger, not a political activist. This isn't a circus act. Everyone walking into the lion's lair won't help. From my view, Yoani does not need to be in the front lines, she is too visible already.

I believe her blog about Gorki was more than enough to garner attention. Yoani's blog is our only window that the world can use to look into the island. Must we risk losing it so she doesn't look like she has her nose in the air? Too many self aggrandizing voices out there.

Yoani is the real deal. She will be hated and for many reasons. People hating her for looking like she has her nose in the air is just noise. Her blogs are what make her extremely valuable to us. She should not risk that.

That's just my opinion. Don't try this at home.

If Yoani didn't help, wouldn't she be in danger of looking like the "famous" blogger... with her nose in the air relative to others who are less noticed abroad?
